The Walstad Way...

Our fish live in rich, heavily planted tanks with layers and layers of biodiversity.

Never in bare, poorly lit and overcrowded holding tanks!

We believe letting them grow and acclimate in a planted tank is just humane... plus, we know they'll do great in your community tank around plants and snails. (not Pea Puffers, though. Those guys will murder your snails!)

While they are with us, we quarantine using the 'med trio' (Maracyn for bacterial, ParaCleanse for parasites, and Ich-X for fungal diseases).

Our little guys are fed diverse diets of flake, frozen and live foods so they'll be ready for whatever you decide to feed!

Cass was wonderful to work with! I requested a female and a male, and they were considerate for the safety of the fishes before sending them to me, and it worked out well in the end! You can tell Cass cares deeply about the animals they are raising. ^_^ My new little ones are happily exploring their new home, and getting along with their new tankmates! the male guppy is convinced he is a danio, and schools with them!
