Echinodorus quadracostatus is a smaller sword, and only reaches about 4" tall. Very nice size for a smaller aquarium.

Broad Leaf Chain Sword propagates readily by sending out runners.

Very easy-to-keep plant that needs neither Co2 or high lights to thrive.

Narrow Leaf Chain Sword  is also available!

Single bare-root plantlet will vary in it's natural state; 3-6" tall

Grown EMERGENT

Growing requirements:

  • 65-80 Degrees Fahrenheit
  • Ph 6-8
  • Low to Medium light intensity
  • Moderate growth speed

As I like to keep real ecosystems in my aquariums, there's always the possibility of harmless snail or dwarf shrimp hitchhikers!

Nice

The size is great, and there is good root structure. Unfortunately, it didn’t seem to handle shipping and the delay in shipping very well. Hoping that since the roots look good, it will take off.

Good little plant!

A little plant for my new tank. Planted two weeks ago. Some leaves start to turn a little bit translucent, and no melting yet. New roots start to develop.
