| "The plants were a lot bigger and healthier than I expected. I have had experience with other sellers that give the bare minimum of the item description but this was more than worth the price. Will definitely buy from here again when/if I order aquarium plants in the future." -Tejbir |
Available in different options:
- Bunch (4-6 stems)
- Potted (rooted in rockwool)
An easy green beauty, 'Hygrophila difformis' gets tall, so be sure to add it towards the back of your aquarium! Responds well to trimming and replanting to keep it full and bushy.
Bunch format: 4-6 collected stems, may be branched or rooted
Potted format: Fully rooted and established, 4-6" tall
Bettas love to rest on the broad leaves up towards the surface. If you don't prune them, they'll grow right out of the water! You'll notice the leaf shape and texture will change too. Immersed grown (outside the water) leaves will be thicker, coarser, and less frilly and lacy. Underwater leaves change shape to thin lacy leaves. Wisteria is a truly versatile plant.
I personally grow these both ways, so your bunches may have harvested stems that have both emergent and submerged leaves, plus usually some roots too!
Growing requirements:
- 65-80 Degrees Fahrenheit
- Ph 6-8
- Low-medium light intensity
- Grows quickly
- Gets leggier with lower light, bronze tips with higher light
- Co2 not necessary, but recommended for best color
As I like to keep real ecosystems in my aquariums, there's always the possibility of harmless snail or dwarf shrimp hitchhikers
