| "It looks so good. The leaves are nice and bright. The stem had enough space at the bottom to anchor it without losing any leaves. 100% recommend this item and shop for quality and fast shipping!"

Lace Leaf Water Sprite is one of those plants I instinctively reach for when I set up a fry tank. It's a larger plant that grows a great root system, but grows better floating in the water column!
I just plop mine in a new tank, and it quickly spreads and unfurls a veritable riot of branches and roots-- the perfect shelter for growing fry!
You can, of course, plant (Ceratopteris siliquosa) should you wish to. I'd place it towards the back/ middle of your aquascape.
In favored conditions, Water sprite loves to grow new baby ferns right along its older leaves! pinch these off once they start growing roots, and you'll have new Water Sprites!
One order is for one 3" tall rosette; plant varies in it's natural state.
Growing requirements:
- 65-80 Degrees Fahrenheit
- Ph 6-8
- Low to Medium light intensity.
- Grows 6-18" tall
- Quick growth
As I like to keep real ecosystems in my aquariums, there’s always a chance of harmless hitchhikers like snails or dwarf shrimp tagging along with your plants!
I personally keep several beneficial snail species in my tanks, including Colorful Ramshorns, Bronze Bladder and Pond Snails, Mini Rams, and Malaysian Trumpet Snails. These snails stay relatively small, help clean the aquarium, and do not eat healthy plants or cause harm. However, if you’d rather avoid any hitchhikers, I highly recommend checking out our blog on how to safely disinfect aquarium plants before adding them to your tank:
How to Bleach Dip Aquarium Plants Safely
All plants are freshly snipped or harvested and packed right before shipment. I take great care in preparing every order and use methods that have consistently produced the best results over many years in the hobby. A lot of love goes into every package, so please don’t leave your plants sitting in a hot mailbox for too long 🙏
Thank you for looking, aqua friends! 💚
