Similar in need to the Hygro. Compacta plant, Lobelia Cardinalis is perfect for your aquarium midground. Bettas just love it!
A U.S. native marshy plant, Lobelia cardinalis would love to grow out of the top of your aquarium-- where it will turn a ruddy purple when closer to light. Excellent for humid terrarium setups as well!
Cardinal plant does need a bit of trimming to keep it bushy. Just replant the trimmings for more!
Their broad tolerance for aquarium conditions makes them an absolute favorite for aquarists across skill levels. They can grow immersed or submerged!
Be sure to remove the plant from its gel before planting. Simply loosen it with your fingers and wash away under running water. Plant gently as usual.
