"Second time I've ordered from this seller, just as awesome as the first. My dedicated shrimp tank looks amazing now! I can't wait to get shrimp!"
- Megan B. Via Etsy "Didn't seem like much when I opened the box...but really spread out when I put it in the water. I split this between 2 tanks (10 gal guppy and 3.5 gal betta)." -Shannon Via Etsy |
Three species for fish and shrimp breeding. Just drop in and go!
Easy trims to give your fry and shrimplets some cover.
This is a PACK OF THREE PLANT BUNCHES for your baby aquarium occupants.
You will receive a pack of three bunches: 5+ stems of Hornwort, 5+ stems of Guppy Grass, 2oz of Java Moss.
I personally love these three for their quick growth, ease of care, and willingness to roll with your tank parameters. My baby fry love to hang out with these near the surface, and they provide wonderful cover and grazing ground for my shrimplets. If you're looking to reduce baby guppy loss due to hunting parents, this is the stuff!
And oh, by the way: None of these three plants need to root. Just let them drift around your tank. If you try to bury Hornwort or java moss, that area will just rot. Guppy grass might send out an anchor tendril to your substrate, but it's more of a suggestion. Like I said, crazy easy care plants!
I've included a photo above of a sample order of all three in my hands. These are the amounts you can expect to receive.
All grown submerged with minimal fertilizer and average light/ room temperatures.
These are grown in my personal breeding tanks and are personally maintained by me, and are in wonderful health. I keep these specific plants myself in all my guppy and shrimp breeder tanks, so I know you'll have awesome success with these too!
I use these in some of my summer fry grow out tubs too, so they'll be happy outdoors in some sun as well. (Like any plants, slowly acclimate them to full sun if you're going to go that route ;)
I do have a few filterless, unheated Walstad tanks as well, so you know these are hardy, easy-care plants that grow fast and under a wide variety of conditions.
Complete your Shrimp setup with a piece of Cholla wood!
As I like to keep real ecosystems in my aquariums, there's always the possibility of harmless snail or dwarf shrimp hitchhikers!
