Shell Envy is a mineral-based food that promotes a thick and healthy carapace in shrimp. It is an essential aspect of their anatomy and ensures that they always look their best. Shrimp shed the outer shell of their carapace as they grow, exposing a softer layer that takes some time to solidify. Feeding them a mineral-based meal as a supplement will assist ensure they get the minerals they need to harden their shell properly and attractively, but overfeeding can create molting problems.

This blend of natural, organic ingredients is a high mineral content blend of kale, mulberry, nettle, dandelion, moringa, spinach, spirulina, chlorella, bee pollen, kelp, alfalfa, wheatgrass, black walnut, and other essential nutrients and minerals. There are also important nutrients and minerals such as beta-glucan, calcium carbonate, montmorillonite, amino acids, trace minerals, chitin, yeast, and probiotics.

This is a pellet food that is easy to break apart to let you control how much you feed your shrimp and it sinks quickly. This shrimp will break it apart and spread it around the tank so everyone gets some. If you are finding leftover food after 3 or 4 hours then you know you are overfeeding, lower your pellet size used or frequency of feedings.
