The Peppered Corydoras (Corydoras paleatus) is a peaceful, attractive schooling fish well-suited to community and planted aquariums. Sporting a light greyish- tan body with black and silver/blue spots and striping, it's easy to identify.
Peppered Cory Catfish are peaceful and sociable; they can be kept with adult dwarf shrimp, but shrimplets may be eaten. Diet consists of dry and frozen foods, and a sandy or smooth gravel substrate is preferred; coarse substrates can harm their barbells and underside. Easily adaptable to most tropical, freshwater aquariums with regular maintenance.
