Cryptocoryne Retrospiralis is a 'taller' Crypt similar to Crypt Balansae, and the hammered- bronze texture of the leaves is a perennial favorite!

I'd place these in the midground, to back in your aquascaping, as they are among the taller crypt species and can get between 12" to 24".

One of the lowest-light, and easiest-to-please plants I carry, you should nonetheless expect some leaf melt when it's shipped your way. These like to regrow their leaves when disturbed.

One plant is 4-8" tall.

SUBMERGED-GROWN

Growing requirements:

  • 65-80 Degrees Fahrenheit
  • Ph 6-8
  • Low to Medium light intensity.
  • Slow growth speed

As I like to keep real ecosystems in my aquariums, there's always the possibility of harmless snail or dwarf shrimp hitchhikers!

Great Plant!

Mine arrived in a little more of a rough state due to unforeseen circumstances causing my package to arrive 10 days later than it should’ve been. However, with how the plant was packaged it arrived alive. I had a bit of melt but I think that was more related to mail arriving late than anything else. Despite that the plant is really starting to take off. I’m really into crypts right now and I really liked this one from a tank i had a few years ago so I was happy to pick one up again. All the plants I’ve gotten from Glass Grown have been healthy and have taken off really well. Now I just wish my corydoras would stop digging up my root tabs.

2 for 1

Was pleasantly surprised to find 2 plants tied together. They are small but very healthy looking. Only the oldest leaf melted back and already have some new growth.
