'Mi Oya' is an uncommon Crypt very similar to Cryptocoryne Wendtii Bronze. I've noticed that while they share the coppery, ruffled leaf structure, Mi Oya tends to lean more purpley bronze.
I'd place these in the front, to mid-ground in your aquascaping, although I have a few that have grown up to 8 inches tall over three years. As I said, slow growing!
One of the lowest-light, and easiest-to-please plants I carry, you should nonetheless expect some leaf melt when it's shipped your way. These like to regrow their leaves when disturbed.
One plant is 4-8" tall. One single bare-root plant will have at least three leaves.
EMERGENT-GROWN
Growing requirements:
- 65-80 Degrees Fahrenheit
- Ph 6-8
- Low to Medium light intensity.
- Slow growth speed
As I like to keep real ecosystems in my aquariums, there's always the possibility of harmless snail or dwarf shrimp hitchhikers!
