Cryptocoryne Spiralis also referred to as Crypt Spiralis, is a plant that’s been dramatically increasing in popularity amongst planted tank hobbyists. This easy-to-care-for plant serves as an excellent mid-ground or background plant and has a much faster growth rate than the similar-looking java fern.
This particular Cryptocoryne spiralis, known as 'Tiger', earned its name from the striking design of its slender, red-brown leaves adorned with tiger-like stripes. Widely sought after by aquarium enthusiasts, this unique species is considered one of the most elusive in the hobby.
For optimal growth, it is recommended to cultivate Cryptocoryne spiralis 'Tiger' in a nutrient-rich, soil-based substrate with high levels of lighting and abundant CO2.
