"Absolutely happy with my purchase. Also I am a big fan of the origami snail the seller includes. I now have two hanging out on my shelf."

"Ceratophyllum Demersum" is a drifting, low light, and easy care plant- It doesn't even need a substrate!
I love them in my tanks as they are great at sheltering fry and baby shrimplets.
This order is for one bunch as pictured, all branched and at least 6" long. (4-6 stems)
Grown SUBMERGED
Will contain other shorter stems, as Hornwort is notoriously brittle. Anything that breaks off will keep right on growing!
Growing requirements:
- 65-80 Degrees Fahrenheit
- Ph 6-8
- Low to medium light intensity.
- Fast growth speed
- Gets leggier and greener with lower light, a dusky red and more compact with higher light
- Co2 not recommended
Cassandra's Notes:
A superbly easy plant, Hornwort loves to float around aimlessly, as it never actually sends out roots. If you attempt to bury part of if beneath the substrate, it will promptly rot. I anchor mine by tucking it behind or between decorations, driftwood and the like. I have also seen other hobbyists use cyanoacrylate superglue to keep it tied to something. (It's absolutely aquarium safe!)
I've included a photo above of a sample order. This is the amount you can expect to receive. Grown submerged with minimal fertilizer and average light/ room temperatures. Your Hornwort could be darker or more coarse depending on which tank it came from, Always the possibility of harmless snail or shrimp hitchhikers!
