One of the few lower light aquarium plants with color! A fantastic addition to your tanks. Bettas and Guppies love to rest on the broad leaves right at the surface to 'sun' themselves!
Requires slightly higher light and average water parameters, keeping towards the mid-range. Golden Jenny(Lysimachia nummularia 'Aurea') can be both a submerged and immersed plant, so excellent for bog or terrarium type tanks.
I personally grow these both ways, so your bunches may have harvested stems that have both emergent and submerged leaves, plus almost always roots on each stem!
A bunch is 4-6 collected stems, branching/ rooting will vary. (4-8" tall)
Looking for a potted version of Golden Jenny?
Growing requirements:
- 65-80 Degrees Fahrenheit
- Ph 6-8
- Medium light intensity.
- Medium growth speed
As I like to keep real ecosystems in my aquariums, there's always the possibility of harmless snail or dwarf shrimp hitchhikers!
