An easy plant just right for beginners, Buce Batang Kawa is slow-growing but hardy! Smooth, rounded purple-tinted leaves are gorgeous.
Look for the 'Water leaves' once it's been submerged for some time. These are the new growth that unfurls from the rhizome buds. Those show the deep, rich coloring Buces are known for!
Place at the forefront of your aquarium, or on driftwood or stones as accents.
As it is an epiphyte, do not bury the plant's roots and rhizome in your substrate, as it will rot. Instead, attach with superglue or string. I like clear sewing thread!
These are tiny little plants that look way too handsome for how little maintenance they require.
One order is for one small cluster with multiple growing nodes. 1-2" wide. These are small!
SUBMERGED-GROWN

As I enjoy keeping natural, balanced ecosystems in my tanks, hitchhikers are always a possibility!
