Add a little variety to your aquarium with a random assortment of Nerite Snails! Nerites are peaceful, hardworking algae eaters that help keep your tank looking clean by grazing on algae and biofilm from glass, plants, rocks, and decorations.
They are safe with fish and shrimp and generally leave healthy plants alone. Nerite Snails also cannot reproduce in freshwater, so they won't overpopulate your aquarium like some other freshwater snails.

Important Care Notes
- Keep a tight-fitting lid on your aquarium. Nerite Snails are known to wander above the water line.
- Avoid high nitrate levels, as Nerites are sensitive to poor water quality.
- Like other invertebrates, Nerites are sensitive to copper. Check medications and tap water for copper before adding them to your tank.
- Nerites need access to algae and biofilm for a healthy diet. Very clean or newly established tanks may not provide enough natural food.
