Your 3x Anubias starter pack includes bare-root specimens of our top selling Anubias of all time:

Plants vary from 3" to 6", with samples I'm shown holding!

These are the first  types of plants I'd suggest for a beginner!

Anubias is an adorable little plant. It should be placed in the front, as it will stay small and reproduce through lateral nodes. Slow growing, but you'd eventually be able to break off sections for a new plant.

These types of plants do not like to be buried, as their little roots will quickly rot. You can use sewing thread or Cyanoacrylate super glue to attach it to rocks, driftwood, or other decorations. They stay neat and tidy! Try your hand at a Bonsai Driftwood centerpiece.

Anubias are hardy and slow-growing. Perfect for tough livestock such as goldfish and certain cichlids. Tolerates lower light, and is pretty difficult to kill in my opinion!

One thing to note: As Anubias are slow growers, algae growth can be a concern. Just keep an eye on your parameters, and put your lights on a little plug-in timer. Six hours of light is plenty.

Growing requirements:

  • 65-80 Degrees Fahrenheit
  • Ph 6-8
  • Low to Medium light intensity.
  • Slow growth speed

As I like to keep real ecosystems in my aquariums, there's always the possibility of harmless snail or dwarf shrimp hitchhikers!

There will be some variation in branching and size!

The plants arrive alive, but heavily wilted and two lost most if not all of their leaves.
