Anchor mini catfish (Hara Jerdoni) have several names; Moth Cat, or Asian Stone Catfish.
They are native to slow-moving streams in India and Bangladesh, and are quite unique in appearance!
As an otherwise peaceful micropredator, they should not be kept with baby shrimp. Since these Anchor catfish only grow to about 1", they can be kept with other adult invertebrates such as adult cherry shrimp or snails.
Mostly nocturnal, these little catfish should be kept in groups, and will feel their best in a sandy tank with plenty of moss and other cover. It's quite possible to lose them in a mossy substrate!
Feed them live or frozen meaty foods for good health!
