Tired of watering (or forgetting to water!) your terrarium plants? Considering something a little bit otherworldly and striking?
These 3-5" Air Plants are unlike any other terrestrial plants, and don't need to be kept wet to live. Instead, they can be placed in all kinds of areas of your home. You can even use a hot glue gun to attach them to things like magnets or boxes, or nestle them in terrarium arrangements with tropical frogs or in dried flower arrangements. I've seen people add them to strange places in their home such as bookshelves or hanging from the ceiling in a living mobile.

IDEAS FOR AQUARIUMS AND HOME :
1. Attach your Air Plant in a bright, indirectly lit area of your above-water hardscape. I use sewing thread or thin wire. Don't let it touch water!
3. If you'd like, you can use a hot glue gun to attach them to things like magnets or home decor items like mirrors, trays, lamps, and bowls.
4. Nestle them in terrarium arrangements or in dried flower arrangements. Mine live in a wreath on my front door.
FAQ:
Q: How often should I water my Air Plant?
A: While they don't need to be potted in dirt, and can basically be placed anywhere dry, Air plants still need to be 'watered' every one to two weeks or so.
I do it by placing them fully submerged in a mason jar of water for a couple of hours. They need to absorb water through their leaf surface. Once they've done that, pull them out, shake gently to remove excess moisture, and pop them back into their terrarium or decor. If you have these attached to damp driftwood poking out of your aquarium, you don't need to do this at all.
Q: Do Air Plants need to be potted in soil?
A: No, Air Plants do not need to be potted in soil.
Q: Do Air Plants need bright light?
A: No, but they do prefer it. Theyll look great anywhere an easy houseplant could live.
