Epiplatys Annulatus, commonly referred to as the clown killi, rocket killifish, or banded panchax, features alternating dark brown and tannish-yellow vertical stripes along the body and a vibrant, flame-like tail seen in males.
Rocket Killifish are an ideal choice for nano tanks no smaller than 5 gallons, due to their size. To ensure they stay put, it's important to maintain a secure cover on the tank, with all openings sealed off. Native to the slow-moving streams and swamps of West Africa, these fish require a low flow filter such as a sponge filter, as well as ample coverage from floating plants.
