An excellent beginner plant!
This variety of the popular Sagittaria subulata has thin, strap-like leaves and a creeping habit. They won't need anything special in terms of lighting, filtration, or temperatures, and pretty much do just fine no matter what.
Narrowleaf sag is a quick growing, low maintenance plant that provides excellent forage and shelter for baby shrimp and fish fry. It readily propagates itself like grass, and is best for the background, as it will grow tall 12"+.
Their broad tolerance for aquarium conditions makes them an absolute favorite for aquarists across skill levels. No special lighting, water parameters or co2 needed!
One order is for THREE 4-8" tall rosette/ nodes; and varies in it's natural state.
Grown both EMERGED and SUBMERGED
Growing requirements:
- 65-80 Degrees Fahrenheit
- Ph 6-8
- Low to Medium light intensity.
- quick growth speed
As I like to keep real ecosystems in my aquariums, there's always the possibility of harmless snail or dwarf shrimp hitchhikers!
