Tissue cultures are specially grown plants for those who do not want to introduce any pests of any kind to their aquarium. These are grown in specialty labs with zero possibility of algae, snails or any other undesirables, Guaranteed.

Crypt Crispatula is an uncommon Cryptocoryne species distinguished by its long, thin, straw-like leaves in comparison to the wider foliage of more standard Crypts. It is native to Thailand and other parts of South East Asia, typically found in streams and rivers along rocky beds. Cryptocoryne Crispatula is easy to maintain and requires little care, ideal for aquarists with little experience.

Crypts can be grown emersed or submerged.  Propagate by splitting the rhizome or cutting off new growth and replanting.

Be sure to remove the plant from its gel before planting. Simply loosen it with your fingers and wash away under running water. Plant gently as usual.
